Contributor
A person from whom HCF accepts contributions and who is
eligible for benefits.

Inpatient
Any member who is admitted to hospital.
Medical Gap
Occurs when doctors charge more than the Medicare Schedule Fee. Generally, contributors pay any difference above the Schedule Fee.
Member
A contributor, the contributor’s spouse or partner, and any dependent children of contributor.
Same Day Patient
An inpatient who receives treatment in hospital, or a day hospital facility, but does not stay overnight. |
